At A Safe Space Mental Health Services, our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive care and stable housing for individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. We are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can access the resources, therapy, and housing needed to reclaim their lives. Through trauma-informed care, individualized treatment plans, and a commitment to dignity and empowerment, we strive to foster healing, growth, and community reintegration, enabling each person to achieve sustainable recovery, long-term well-being, and a stable, supportive home.

A Safe Space Mental Health Services is a CARF Accredited community-based program dedicated to supporting individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges. We provide a safe, stable, and structured environment where clients can begin their journey toward healing and independence.

We address both mental health and substance use needs through individualized treatment plans that treat the whole person — not just symptoms.
Our residential settings offer stability and safety, creating the foundation clients need to focus on recovery.
We help clients secure essential entitlements and resources — including housing, employment support, and public benefits — so they are empowered to succeed after leaving our care.
Our multidisciplinary staff is dedicated, licensed, and deeply committed to helping each client rebuild their life.
We respect every individual’s lived experience and tailor our approach to meet them where they are.
1. Who is eligible to receive services at A Safe Space Mental Health Services?
We serve adults who are experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions. Individuals must be open to receiving treatment and participating in a structured, supportive environment. Referrals may come from hospitals, clinics, social workers, or self-referral.
2. What types of support do residents receive while in the program?
Residents receive a range of services, including individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication observation, life skills training, and case management. We also assist with obtaining entitlements such as housing support, health insurance, and employment or education resources to support long-term stability.
3. How long can a client stay in the program?
The length of stay varies depending on each client's individual needs and progress. Our goal is to provide enough time and support for clients to achieve emotional stability, develop life skills, and secure safe, permanent housing or transition to a higher level of independence.
